徐荣旗 男 1964年9月出生。1985年毕业于河北大学生物系，获理学学士学位；1999年中国农科院研究生院植物病理专业毕业，获农学硕士学位；2006年广西大学生命科学与技术院微生物学专业毕业，获理学博士学位。主持或参加完成国家级和省部级研究课题18项，培育棉花新品种3个，获得成果奖励6项，申请基因专利3项，在国内外学术杂志发表科研论文20余篇。

主要履历及经历：

1985年-1987年 航天部522厂子弟学校 生物教师； 1987年-2005年 河北农科院棉花研究所 副研究员； 2006年-2008年 中国农业科学院生物技术研究所 博士后研究； 现为中国农业科学院生物技术研究所研究员、综合办公室主任。

研究领域：

植物病原真菌、细菌的致病机理；植物与微生物相互作用的分子生物学。
