应我所林敏所长的邀请，加拿大Simon Fraser大学的Russell A. Nicholson教授近日来我所进行为期三天的学术交流。交流期间，Nicholson教授在研究所216会议室作了题为“Writing Scientific papers for North American and European Journals and Tips on Writing Grant Applications”和“Interaction of phthgalate esters with the cannabinoid-1 (CB1) receptor of mammalian brain in vitro”的学术报告，并与我所相关领域专家就转基因作物所产生的经济利益、安全性问题和安全检测等热点问题进行了讨论和交流。我所研究生以及来自孟加拉和巴基斯坦的留学生20余人参加了报告会。
