BRI has 126 employees. Among them 108 are permanent research staff including one academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, 35 professors and 41 associate professors, and the others are administrative and supporting staff. The young researchers of 45 years old and below accounted for 70% of the total number of scientific and technical staff, and staff with doctorate or master's degree accounted for more than 80%.
